In 2002, The Atlanta Concert Ringers held their first rehearsal with much excitement over the prospect of a great musical adventure. This community based handbell performance group includes experienced ringers from throughout the Atlanta Metropolitan area who prepare programs showcasing a wide variety of handbell music from secular to sacred to show tunes, old stand-bys to new compositions, serious to light-hearted.
Now in our second decade, ACR is an outstanding handbell performance group entertaining audiences of all ages at a variety of venues in the Atlanta Metropolitan area and beyond. ACR has performed as a featured group in arts festivals sponsored by the Handbell Musicians of America and at Piccolo Spoleto in Charleston, SC.
